Who is Your Adviser?

 Who is Your Best Adviser?

Are you disturbed with knowing how to determine good advice? Worry no more because you have landed the best advice.

It's true that honour is a command from God. But any honour that dishonours God is unbiblical.

Is my Pastor the best advisor?

The role of one's spiritual guide no doubt cannot be overlooked. At the same time, when advised always confirm with God's word. A preacher once advised someone to honour a senior colleague with what the colleague likes most which is alcoholic drink - this is completely outside of God's word - its not biblical.

Beloved, in every situation or steps don't ever fail to consult the word of God irrespective of who your adviser may be.

The advise of our friends, mentors, teachers, pastors, leaders, prophets etc is no substitute for God's direction. A vivid example is found in I chro 13:1-10 king David consulted with all his officers but forgot to consult God's word, it resulted to dire consequences.

Forms of Advisers

Some people consult a medium for guidance. Whereas, some christians aren't aware that it is sinful to consult people who practice spiritism, star gazers, palm readers etc to find out about the future, but God's word is against these practices.

What is The Solution?

Strict obedience to God's word is better than sacrifice or whatever else we can offer. What amount of money, substance or resources will you offer nor sacrifice to God when you have not first offered yourself as a sacrifice unto Him.

In conclusion, our zeal and enthusiasm for God must be guided by His word.

PRAYER:

Say this simple prayer wholeheartedly. Lord, may you be central in every decision l take and in all l do! Amen.🙏

How To Be Resilience and Overcome Life's Challenges

Life is full of challenges no doubt! Would you like to know how to overcome the troubles of this life and stay resilient? If yes, read the story of Amina and find out how she overcame the troubles and battles of this life and still remain resolute.

As I sit in the dimly lit room of our small apartment, surrounded by the faint hum of electronic devices, I can't help but feel burdened by my circumstances. At 25, I should be chasing my dreams with unwavering determination, but instead, I find myself struggling to make ends meet, tethered to a cycle of freelance gigs that barely pay the bills. And then there's my mother, my rock,  whose health is slowly fading, requiring more care and attention with each passing day.

In the midst of this turmoil, the continuous draw of electricity from the chargers left plugged in serves as a haunting reminder of my own negligence. It's a small detail in the grand scheme of things, but it symbolizes the carelessness that has permeated my life—a life where every ounce of energy feels drained, both literally and metaphorically.

But just when I feel like I'm drowning in despair, fate intervenes in the form of an unexpected encounter. While wandering the streets with my camera in hand, I stumble upon a crowd gathered around a renowned artist, mesmerized by the vibrant strokes of his paintbrush.

Drawn in by the energy of the moment, I find myself captivated by his passion, his drive, his unwavering belief in the power of art to transcend adversity.

In that moment, something inside me shifts—a spark of inspiration ignites, flickering to life against the backdrop of my own darkness.

I realize that I've been allowing myself to be defined by my struggles, to be consumed by the weight of my own limitations. But no more. With newfound determination coursing through my veins, I vow to take control of my own narrative, to harness the power of my passion and creativity to carve out a brighter future for myself and my mother.

And so, with each unplugged charger, each captured moment behind the lens, I reclaim a piece of myself—a piece that refuses to be invisible, undervalued, or defeated. For I am Amina, aspiring photographer, caregiver, and now, architect of my own destiny.
